Public Reporting

For hospices, mandatory data capture for reporting measures to CMS begins in October 2012. Voluntary reporting begins in January 2012. The initial requirements are small, but they demand system and process changes for most hospices. And there are more measures in the quality reporting "pipeline," addressing both clinical quality and satisfaction.
