OASIS C2: The Changing Face of OASIS in 2017

The latest version of the OASIS data set, OASIS C2, must be adopted by home health agencies on January 1, 2017. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) carried out this update to OASIS primarily to standardize assessments across post-acute care settings, as required by the IMPACT Act. In addition, CMS used this opportunity to improve manual guidance and directions by revising response specific instructions to numerous OASIS items.

This webinar provided clinicians with an overview of the changes made to OASIS C2, including discussion of new assessment items and revised formatting and numbering, and detailed information about noteworthy changes to response specific instructions and data sources.
