Martha Tecca is a healthcare measurement and management strategist who has spent her career working with healthcare providers, industry associations, and vendors to help organizations improve quality and meet business objectives. For the past ten years, Martha has focused on end-of-life care and its integration into the healthcare continuum. As Chief Strategy Officer at Deyta, she provides strategic direction to product and business development; client, partner and stakeholder relationships; and Deyta’s organizational and operational practices. Martha also works one-on-one with healthcare providers to measurably improve patient care quality and satisfaction to drive success for the healthcare organization.
Bill Bassett is a nationally recognized home care executive with over 20 years of experience in healthcare, technology and information management organizations including Bristol-Myers Squibb, Sonicare, and OCS. Bill provides oversight to all home health operations and works strategically with large, national home health providers to create easy-to-understand solutions that improve the quality of care for home health and hospice agencies.
Liz Silva has been working with hospices focusing on benchmarking and performance improvement for over 9 years. She joined Deyta in 2008 to provide oversight to the development of hospice quality and satisfaction improvement programs. Liz is dedicated to educating hospices about data driven results and works one on one with agencies to help them get the most out of their reports and implement powerful programs for improvement. Liz also works nationally with NHPCO and AHF to further hospice quality initiatives.
Craig Long is an accomplished business development professional with expertise in developing long term strategic partnerships with leading home health and hospice providers. With over 30 years of experience in providing technology and quality improvement solutions, Craig aptly understands the economic landscape and increased regulations that present overwhelming challenges to agencies. By staying at the forefront of these industry trends, Craig crafts powerful solutions that help agencies overcome these burdens to improve clinical and operational processes and increase the bottom line.
Sarah Balmer is an energetic business professional recognized for strategic thinking and versatility. Sarah joined Deyta in 2008 as National Director of Business Development and played an instrumental role in launching Deyta’s HHCAHPS program. As VP of Strategic Development, Sarah provides key oversight to marketing, communications, conference management and supports Deyta’s commitment to educational programming. She works with state associations, software vendors and cross functionally with Deyta’s product strategy and sales teams to promote Deyta’s solutions for improving patient care and reinforcing the value that hospice and home health agencies bring to the healthcare continuum.
Steve Sablan has spent the past 12 years working in the healthcare industry in a wide-range of Information Technology technical and business roles. Prior to joining Deyta, LLC, he has been directly involved with a variety of critical initiatives in the areas of application development, project management, data integration, database administration, data analysis, quality assurance, security, process improvement, HIPAA, and compliance. As VP of Information Technology, he provides leadership in planning, designing, and implementing programs, policies and practices that adhere to all HIPAA and compliance regulations. In addition, Steve works closely with all of the functional areas within the organization to ensure the high standard of quality is consistently met and achieved.
Lavin Graviss has led client service and technology teams with Deyta for six years. Her meticulous attention to detail allows her to manage teams that deliver the highest quality service. Lavin works daily with cross functional teams to ensure the Home Health Care CAHPS Survey and other satisfaction surveys are properly executed. She serves as a central point to capture and resolve issues that occur during production and analysis. Lavin also works with the product development team to define and create project timelines and work them into the production process.
Jack's background includes business to business sales and marketing management with P&L responsibility for UnitedHealthcare, Aetna and NYLCare. He has also been involved in strategic and marketing planning, development of structured sales methodologies, market development, product development, and LEAN business process improvement for companies such as CoreSource, Group Health Incorporated, BPS Healthcare, and the Mount Sinai Medical System.
At Deyta, Jack provides key oversight to the inside sales team and sales support. He works strategically with state associations to build programs that strengthen membership, education and promote the value of data utilization to improve patient care quality and performance.
Debbie Abarientos is a dedicated and dynamic self-starter with a highly customer focused perspective. Prior to joining Deyta as Director of Client Services, Debbie had over 18 years of experience as a Customer Relations Manager. Debbie has excelled at building customer loyalty by exceeding performance goals and objectives to improve the quality and structure of an organization.
Having earned a Black Belt in 6Sigma Process Improvement Methodology, Debbie has become an expert in process improvement and project management in a corporate setting. This has led Debbie to identify root causes for deficient accuracy, productivity, and quality, while proactively resolving these issues to mitigate negative service experiences.
Rebecca Van Vorst joined Deyta in 2011 as Director of Data Analytics. Rebecca has extensive experience in hospice quality improvement and health outcomes measurement and over 20 years experience administering multi-center research grants in end-of-life care, primary care, and infant development. Rebecca has published on a wide range of health issues, such as colon cancer prevention and screening, patient safety, provider decision making, and barriers to quality palliative care. She has also facilitated a number of community coalitions on cancer and chronic diseases and is experienced in community-based participatory research, community coalition action theory, and practice-based research.
Prior to joining Deyta, Rebecca was project manager for the Hospice AIM Project, a Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) multi-site quality assessment and improvement special study, evaluating the use of quality measures in hospice and palliative care.
