Job Overview
The SQL SSRS Developer will work in an exciting, fast-paced and agile environment. Ideal candidate will possess expert understanding of the SQL Server architecture, administration and security demonstrating a solid grasp of advanced SQL query techniques. The SSRS Developer will be responsible for developing graphically rich dashboard reports on the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 platform. This will include reports, vendor exports, data warehousing tasks and other data related tasks. This position requires excellent communication, technical and project management skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced report development utilizing SQL Server Reporting Services
- Design, code and test SQL Server Reporting Services components (User Interface, Middleware, Stored Procedures, Tables, etc.)
- Utilize understanding of relational database concepts, strong knowledge with SSIS
- Write SQL statements within stored procedures; perform database queries and analysis
- Help in the design, implementation, verification, debugging, optimizing and maintenance of SQL Server database objects (database design, table design, index creation, stored procedures, views, functions, scripts, etc.)
Minimum Requirements
- T-SQL (including stored procedures & performance tuning)
- Significant experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Strong experience with stored procedure skills and SQL queries
- Strong experience with: SQL Server Database Engine, Report Builder, SQL Server 2005 and 2008, Data Set Development
- Experience implementing dashboards a plus
- Designing, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of reports and reporting processes
- Knowledge of Microsoft Reporting services required.
